The EW-AD305 Shimano conversion adapter is a plug adapter that is used to connect an EW-SD300 Di2 power cable to the older type EW-SD50 cable. This is necessary, for example, to combine older time trial components, such as the ST-R9160 or ST-R8060, with Dura-Ace or Ultegra Di2 12-speed groupsets. Another scenario is the use of the MU-UR510 motor unit with your Di2 integrated gear hub. It can also be used to wire e-bikes with a DU-EP800 motor. It has an input for EW-SD300 or EW-SD300-I on one side and an input for EW-SD50 on the other.
