Alpha Disc

For our new OSPW RS, we offer versions equipped with the ultra-strong ALPHA Disc derailleur pulley, originally introduced with our OSPW X for the Eagle drivetrain.

The ALPHA Disc features a two-part construction. A separate narrow and wide tooth profile, made from a composite material providing extended wear protection and noise reduction. Additionally, a solid aluminum disc eliminates the possibility of external objects getting caught between the derailleur pulley spokes, while adding strength and rigidity to the derailleur pulley design.

The first tests of this oversized roller tread design took place in the field during the Cyclo-Cross World Cups a few years ago. During the 2022 Cyclo-Cross season, our Tormans sponsored team made extensive use of oversized roller tread technology and confirmed its ability to ensure optimal mud clearance in the most extreme conditions.
